The keto diet has a number of wonderful soups, including clam chowder, chicken soup and this keto turkey soup recipe.
Low carb turkey soup
One of the best ways to use leftover turkey and make use of that leftover turkey carcass is to make a keto turkey soup with cauliflower rice. This keto soup recipe is creamy and filled with healthy fall vegetables. In place of potato in this low carb soup, we add daikon radish. It looks and tastes very similar to a potato.
This soup has fantastic flavors and a great way to use up all of your holiday leftovers. The whole family will get on board with this keto turkey soup, especially if you pair it with these plump, delicious keto rolls.

Turkey stock
If you remember eating turkey soup in the days following Thanksgiving and ever wonder how your Grandma or Mom made it so delicious, well chances are, they probably used the leftover turkey carcass to make homemade turkey bone broth. Homemade bone broth yields the best flavor, but also provides amazing nutritional benefits.
It’s very easy to make turkey bone broth. If you are someone that hates to waste food, this is your recipe for delicious homemade keto bone broth. Everything is added to a slow cooker and cooked over night; although, the longer you cook it the better your bone broth will be.
If you don’t have access to the turkey carcass, you can use store bought chicken broth as a replacement. If you can get ahold of chicken bone broth, even better!
The keto potato
Unfortunately potatoes are not keto approved. They have too many carbohydrates. Luckily, we have a substitute when it comes to making stews and keto soups. The Daikon radish!
The daikon radish can be found in most larger grocery stores. It’s traditionally used in many Asian inspired recipes, but the keto world found this vegetable to be very similar in appearance, texture and flavor to a potato when it was cooked. If you miss chunks of potato in your soup, then you will want to add a daikon radish to the broth.
One cup of daikon radish contains about 4.8 g total carbs and 1.9 g fiber. That means, that one cup of this keto potato substitute is 2.9 grams net carbs.
